To begin with, I am Liz, a Filipina living in Japan for 8 years. I am a mother of 2, 6 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. To describe, life in Japan is very challenging. I could say it is hard to live in Japan if we do not have any stable income. Like me, as a family,we are facing struggles as in now, husband was diagnosed with an illness that affects us. Still thankful to God, because he is still with us. I am working as a part-time, since I have kids, I cannot do yet the full-time work. Good thing is that, my in-laws are helping us and guiding us all the way. And I am so very thankful to them. Life has so many challenges, ups and downs. Sometimes, we could say that life is unfair, however, I am thinking that God is never giving us a trials and challenges that can not be able to endure by everybody. I stood up and say to myself, I can do it and We can do it.This is the part that is the most challenging and strugling of our lives when husband was diagnosed by an illness that affects the stages of our lives.

As they said, that if there is a downside part of our lives, there is an upside part. For me, the great happiness is being a mother and a housewife. Though all marriage/s are not perfect of course but as long that we are holding to each other, that is important. Misunderstandings and arguments are there, its unavoidable part of both sides however children are the crucial part of every marriage union and brings peace to parents that are fighting.
